Programme Background

The main purpose of this programme is to create and produce effective educators, teachers and managers with the latest knowledge and skills as well as to expose them to current issues in education, leadership and management. This programme offers coursework mode only. Full-time programme is within 1 year 6 months while part-time is within 2 years 6 months. Classes are held once a month on weekends. The languages used as medium in this programme are Malay and English.

Entry Requirements

• Passed bachelor’s degree (MQF – Level 6) with at least CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
• Passed bachelor’s degree (MQF – Level 6) or equivalent but did not achieve CGPA 2.50 can be accepted subject to having at least five (5) years of working experience in relevant field; or
• Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

Career Prospects

Lecturer, Researcher or Administrator.
