Programme Background

The Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) Entrepreneurship Degree programme covers several aspects of knowledge including entrepreneurship, management, accounting, human resources, finance, market, sales, promotion, products, cross-culture and international business policy, information technology and some other fields. Entrepreneurship is one of the specialties offered to prospective students that provide insights of how to become successful entrepreneurs globally. Students will be exposed to theory and practical learning outside of the classroom environment to produce high-quality, holistic business graduates. The curriculum available in the programme is in accordance with the standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Entry Requirements

1. Passed STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in 2 subjects; OR
2. Passed STAM with minimum Grade Jayyid; OR
3. Passed Matriculation/ Foundation/ or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; OR
4. Passed Diploma (Level 4 MQF) or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; OR
5. Passed Advanced Diploma (Level 5 MQF) or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; OR
6. *Passed DKM/DLKM/DVM in related field OR
7. Other equivalent qualifications recognised by the Government of Malaysia.

Additional requirements: Passed Mathematics and English at the SPM level/equivalent.

Note:

1. Passed Mathematics and English at the SPM level/equivalent (The requirement to pass English does not apply for international student they are bound with English Language competency requirements):-
2. Passed Mathematics and English at the SPM level/equivalent can be exempted if the achievement in the subjects in higher qualification is equivalent/higher.
3. Local students with academic qualifications that use English as a medium language or obtain a minimum Band 2 in MUET/equivalent can be exempted from the pass requirement in English.
4. Candidates that do not follow the requirements to pass Mathematics/ English at the SPM level/equivalent can be accepted, however, they need to take the reinforcement course. The reinforcement course must be (remedial) and equivalent to SPM. Students need to pass Mathematics subject and English as a prerequisite before being allowed to take the related core courses related to English.

English Language Competency Requirements for International Students(s):

Minimum Score Band 4 in MUET or equivalent with CEFR (Low B2)

Career Prospects

Graduates have the opportunity to contribute their entrepreneurial expertise in the global, multinational, local and non-profit organisations. Graduates can venture into professions related to entrepreneurship by being entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, franchise entrepreneurs, consultants, investors, entrepreneurship development mentors, manager in small and medium enterprises, multinational companies and private sector.
