The Raja Ashman Shah Library is categorised as an academic library that acts as an organisation supporting the education and learning for students and staff at USAS. The main goal of its establishment is to create a university community that is knowledgeable, learned and well-informed, in line with the motto of “rahmatan lil ‘alamin”. In the library’s efforts to produce an informed, knowledgeable and learned community through reading, teaching and learning, various services and facilities have been provided for the library users.

1. To provide a collection of quality reading materials to the users of the library.
2. To provide quality information service to the users of the library.
3. To provide comprehensive and ideal infrastructures to the users of the library.
