Programme Background

Diploma Counselling is an education programme that focus on knowledge and skills in counselling. This course is taught in Malay and English with a cumulative of 90 credit hours, in the forms of tutorial, practical and field work. This programme aims to produce graduates that excel in fundamentals and skills of conventional counselling. These should help them on a semi-professional level and concurrently attain the social responsibility and mission when preaching Islam. This Diploma Programme at USAS helps students to harness their true potential and remain effective towards the goal of a bright career path. Entry Requirements

1. Acquire SPM or equivalent with minimun 3 credits; or
2. Passed SKM Level 3 (Level 3 MQF) or
3. Passed a recognized Certificate (Level 3 MQF) or equivalent in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
4. Passed STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any subject; or
5. Passed STAM with minimum ‘pangkat Maqbul’ or
6. Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
