Programme Background

Diploma in Multimedia with Dakwah is a 2 ½ years study programme, specifically designed to equip students with knowledge, skills and experience through integrated education in multimedia and preaching, as well as value added in management, entrepreneurship, self-development, Arabic language and religious education. Each course developed in this programme is in accordance with the standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). In this programme, students are exposed to problem solving and decision-making to deal with industrial revolution 4.0 and meet the needs of the creative multimedia industry.

Entry Requirements

1. Acquire Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with minimum Credits in 3 subjects; or
2. *Passed Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 and Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least 1 credit; or
3. Passed a recognized Certificate (Level 3 MQF) or equivalent in related field with minimum CGPA 2.00; or
4. Passed STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in any subjects; or
5. Passed STAM with minimum Grade Maqbul.

AND

Passed in interview or present portfolio as determined by USAS

Exemption for the needs of interview or portfolio review to candidates that have a valid academic qualification in the related field.

English Language Competency Requirements for International Student(s):

Minimum Score Band 3.0 in MUET or equivalent with CEFR Mid B1.

Career Prospects

Upon completing the Diploma in Multimedia with Dakwah programme, graduates have several options:-

1. Furthering their studies in the Bachelor of Multimedia Creative, enrolling maximum to Year 2; or
2. Joining the workforce either in the private or government sector, and qualify to be subprofessionals such as graphic designer, photographer, editor, 3D artist or entrepreneur; or
3. Continuing to obtain professional certificates such as Adobe Certificate and others.
