Programme Background

Master of Information Technology Management is a study programme based on coursework with two modes, part-time and full-time. The programme is designed to equip students with knowledge, skills and experience via integrated education in the field of information technology as well as added values in management. Each course available in the programme is in accordance with the standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).

Entry Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with minimum CGPA of 2.75; or
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with CGPA below 2.75 but above 2.50 may be admitted subject to a rigorous internal assessment process; or
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with CGPA below 2.50 may be admitted subject to five (5) years of working experiences in relevant field.
• For candidates with non-Computing Bachelor’s Degree, prerequisite modules in computing must be taken to adequately prepare them for their advanced studies.

Career Prospects

Upon completing Master of Information Technology Management programme, graduates have several options:

• To join the workforce either in the private or government sector and are qualified to be professionals such as lecturer, software developer, software test engineer, software engineer, software architect.
• To further study to PhD in Science.
