Programme Background

Bachelor of Creative Multimedia (Honours) is a 3.5 years study programme, designed specifically to equip students with knowledge, skills and experience via integrated education in creative multimedia, with added values in management, entrepreneurship and self-development. Each course available in the programme is in accordance with the standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). In this programme, students are exposed to problem solving and decision-making to deal with the industrial revolution 4.0 and meet the needs of the creative multimedia industry.

Entry Requirements

1. Passed STPM or equivalent with minimum Grade C (CGPA 2.00) in 2 subjects; OR
2. Passed STAM with minimum Grade Jayyid; OR
3. Passed Matriculation/ Foundation or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; OR
4. Passed Diploma (Level 4 MQF) or equivalent with minimum CGPA 2.00; OR
5. *Passed DKM/DLKM/DVM in related field OR
6. Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.

AND

Passed in interview (online/virtual/conventional) OR submit portfolio as determined by USAS.

English Language Competency Requirements for International Students(s):

Minimum Score Band 4.0 in MUET or equivalent with CEFR Low B2.

Career Prospects

Upon completing the Bachelor of Creative Multimedia (Honours) programme, graduates have several options:-

1. Join the workforce either in the private or government sector and they are qualified to be professionals such as multimedia designer, graphic designer, photographer, 3d artist, illustrator, creative content creator, producer, storyboard artist, production specialist, author & multimedia editor; or
2. Proceed with professional certificates such as Adobe Professional and others.
