Programme Background
Diploma in Islamic Finance programme allows students to gain insights, skills and expertise in the Islamic financial system. Students will be able to understand the fundamentals of Islamic and conventional finance from the theoretical and practical aspects of Islamic banking, takaful, Islamic capital market, currency market, risk management, public finance, international financial regulations and other relevant fields. The curriculum available in the programme is in accordance with the standards set by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA). Students will be exposed to theory and practical learning outside of the classroom environment to produce high-skilled finance graduates based on Islamic values. Students will also be exposed to many teaching methods such as case study analysis, industry and/or department visits and practical training.
