Programme Background

A programme specialising in Shariah and Islamic Studies. This programme uses Malay as the medium in all aspects of learning and teaching. Emphasis on Fiqh of Ibadah (Jurisprudence on Worship), Fiqh of Muamalat (Jurisprudence on Transactions), Fiqh of Munakahat (Jurisprudence on Marriage) and Fiqh al-Jinayat (Jurisprudence on Crime) as well as the practice of the Usul al-Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence) and Methodologies in Fiqh.

Entry Requirements

1. Acquire SPM with minimum credits in 3 subjects or equivalent and passed in Arabic Language subject / one of the Islamic Studies subject; or
2. Passed a recognized Certificate (Level 3 MQF) or equivalent in Islamic Studies subject; or
3. Passed SKM Level 3 (Level 3 MQF) in related field; or
4. Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government
