Programme Background
The program aims to equip students with knowledge of Shariah knowledge in their daily lives so that they can find facts, analyse and solve problems related to Shariah issues based on legitimate sources.

Entry Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (MQF – Level 6) in Islamic Studies with at least CGPA 2.75 or equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate; or
- A bachelor’s degree (MQF – Level 6) in Islamic Studies with at least CGPA 2.50 or equivalent and did not achieve CGPA of 2.75 can be considered for admission subject to rigorous internal evaluation; or
- A bachelor’s degree (MQF – Level 6) in Islamic Studies or equivalent but did not achieve CGPA 2.50 can be considered for admission subject to five (5) years of working experiences in relevant field.
International Students
A relevant bachelor’s degree with good grade from accredited institutions of higher learning, or other certificates that are recognized as equivalent to a bachelor’s degree that are recognized by the Senate of the University.
Career Prospects
Teacher, Lecturer, Member of Fatwa Council, Researcher, Religious Officer, Sharia Advisor in Islamic Financial Institutions or Officer of the Court.
